I’m really excited about the launch of MerrieTech. I’ve been very lucky to have the equivalent of a resident IT Director as I’ve navigated MerrieGroup and MerrieMarketing out there on the Internet.
I know from talking to many of you that you don’t have your own IT expert on hand. Well, why not borrow mine?
I’ve convinced Peter to provide content related to technical matters. This content is very different to the marketing and business based content we usually provide and so we decided it needed its own site.

OK, if you and your business need to start getting it online or you need to be doing things with computer technology then you are going to need somewhere to go for impartial advice. That’s what MerrieTech is about.
The idea of this site is to share with you some of the computer related experience we have gained while establishing our Internet presence.
The first thing we need to make clear is that this site is not intended to be a best of breed or product comparison site. We’ll focus on the technology solutions we use and sometimes mention alternatives that either we may have considered or that you might want to look at yourself.
The second thing we have to make clear is that this is not a help or support site. We’ll try to provide you links to resources that can help you with technical queries but we cannot answer specific questions ourselves.
If there are areas that you would like to see covered, do please send us a request via the Feedback page and we’ll do our best to add some relevant content.
We will cover specific tools and techniques that we’ve used in building our Internet presence. We’ll also point you at useful resources that we use when we get stuck and need help and support ourselves.
